DAY ONE - GISENYI CITY TOUR & KIBUYE
Both GISENYI and KIBUYE feature a resort on the shores of Lake Kivu, with several hotels and several beaches. There is a variety of water sports available with a spectacular view over Lake Kivu, and Gisenyi from Northwest has a particularity of the 3470m high volcano of Nyiragongo, which blew it top and swallowed much of Goma in the neighboring Congo (Zaire) in early 2002. While Kibuye also Known as Karongi provides you with a smallish town situated on the hills above lake, offers great views of the turquoise hued water and scattered islands.
DAY TWO – VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
Welcome to the Volcanoes National Park, It lies in northwestern Rwanda and borders Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda. The national park is known as a haven for the rare and endangered mountain gorilla and golden monkeys. You are riding home to five of the eight volcanoes of the Virunga Mountains (Karisimbi, Bisoke, Muhabura, Gahinga and Sabyinyo), and spans 160 km2 covered in rainforest and bamboo. The park was the base for the zoologist Dian Fossey.
DAY THREE - KIGALI CITY TOUR
KIGALI CITY, the African city immediately notable for its cleanliness, orderliness, and hospitality. The great place to begin or end any Rwanda journey.
